Remembrance by Derek Walcott presents the story of a retired teacher who displays an anachronistic love of British culture, which he cannot reconcile with the beliefs of his family and community in independent Trinidad.

Moondance Night by Edgar White is set on a Caribbean island. The play explores the relationship between Felix, a young hotel worker who longs to move to London to become a famous musician and Dwen Ellis, a newscaster on holiday on the island after many years of absence who eventually returns to London after undergoing a ceremony which changes her life.
